District 9 is one of the best movies to come out for 2009. This science fiction movie gives an alternative angle to what we have always seen in most alien based movies. Set in South Africa, the movie revolves around Wikus (Sharlto Copley), an employee to a company looking to control these creatures, sets out and attempts to have the aliens evicted from their land. However, while attempting to do so, Wikus gets covered in a strange liquid that ends up turning Wikus into an alien. In the middle of all the mayhem, Wikus is trying to get his life back together while his company is attempting to control Wikus for their own personal greed. Available today in both DVD and Blu-ray.
